Motor sports most accurate and only patented weather station the PerformAIRE air quality computer is now available as a trailer mounted version -The PerformAIRE WEATHER CENTER. This system uses a remote sensor housing that can be located outside the trailer in the open air. The sensor housing is an aluminum white powder coated extrusion. Dual internal fans keeps fresh air moving though the housing for accurate air measurements. The Control Console can be mounted inside the trailer where run and weather data can be entered and monitored using a data entry keypad and backlit LCD display.

The PerformAIRE WEATHER CENTER monitors the Temperature, Absolute Barometric Pressure, Relative Humidity, Vapor Pressure, Dew Point, WATER GRAINS, % Oxygen (Optional), Wind Speed, Wind Gust, and Wind Direction (all optional) through its state of the art electronic sensors. This information is transmitted into a microprocessor where density altitude, oxygen altitude, and predicted values are calculated and displayed to incredible accuracy through exact scientific equations formulated specifically for internal combustion engines (verified by authorities in atmospheric research).

Without the need of having a personal computer in your trailer the PerformAIRE WEATHER CENTER can send complete weather and prediction information to you anywhere at the track, including the staging lanes! Multiple pagers can be ran off the system and predictions can be sent for multiple cars. Paging range is 1 mile (minimum). There are also no service fees. This is a stand alone system!

The PerformAIRE WEATHER CENTER contains a data base that allows for storage of runs and then uses this data to automatically predict ETs, Throttle Stop Settings, Jet Sizes, etc. The predicted values are continually updated with each new sample of air. The density altitude and oxygen altitude will automatically be stored with each run if an oxygen sensor has been installed. The stored runs are also tagged with a time and date stamp to allow for later referencing. The expandable data base is capable of storing hundreds of runs and will allow those runs to be stored in separate data bases, which can be labeled for specific cars or tracks. AltaCom II is designed for superior in-field operation. From sensor specifications and board design, to the remote sensing, paging functions, and software, every choice has been made to provide you with stable, accurate readings you can rely on. All that is included in the package price.

AltaCom II is an excellent weatherstation for tuning, racing and dyno work. The fan-aspirated remote sensor housing can be mounted above the trailer roof or in the plenum. The remote cable permits flexible setup, with the console located for convenient viewing. The LCD on the console updates every 20 seconds. The console logs data to internal memory, and can be connected to a PC with the included serial cable for downloading and live data display on screen Both 12 volt power cord and 110 supply are included.

AltaCom II can function as a stand alone weather station, but added functionality is available through your PC. Merlin Windows software provides communications between the weatherstation and your computer, and has powerful tools for drag racing predictions:

This LED bulb will fit into all medium base 110 volt A.C. sockets, which is our Full Sized Tree, and just about every Full Sized Tree on the market today. This LED bulb has 39 LED's in the cluster with an amber colored magnifying lens. The LED Lamp is provided with a 3-inch detachable flat black shroud. This LED lamp is instant on, and has no built in delay time. You may have to contact your sanctioning body to get the exact delay, that they are using, if any. If delay is used at your sanction, or the delay is changed at any time, you can make the appropriate change in your practice tree, by adding that specific time to your rollout setting in the practice tree. You will have to add about .03 to the rollout in your practice tree just for screwing in this bulb, since it is faster than the incandescent bulbs. We recommend replacing at least 3 ambers due to the on/off speed of the LED vs. the slower incandescent bulbs.
