    NEW! Fully Chromed Dynatech Stepped Header Models for dragsters with Big Block Chevy Engines. Available in 2 sizes:

    These are show quality chrome stepped headers with collectors. These headers feature CNC laser machined flanges and two-stepped 28" equal length tube design. Unlike other brands, unique double wall port gussets support the tube and eliminate cracking at the flange. Headers include 4-1/2'' outlet slip on racing collectors with U-tab mountings for bolt-on installation. The complete header package is finished in show quality chrome. You can pay more but you can’t get better! These Headers are a COMPLETE SET and fully chromed with 4-1/2 inch collectors, header gaskets, and header bolts, and hardware to put on the collector.

    Dynatech slip-on race collectors offer great performance at an affordable price. All collectors come race-ready, to bolt on right out of the box. A unique feature is the pan e-vac bung installed on all our slip-on collectors. By using an 18mm thread, you have the option to use the included threaded adaptor for your breather line hook-up, or oxygen sensors found on fuel injection and air/fuel ratio meters. U-tabs are jig installed for a direct bolt-on fit to all Dynatech Drag Headers. High temperature silver ceramic coating is applied inside and out, for durability and appearance. Available in a wide variety of primary tube and collector outlet sizes for all popular applications.

    How It Works: The Vortex Insert Cone, installed near the exit of the header collector or muffler outlet, provides a large friction area to reflect and dissipate sound energy, thus reducing the dB level. The open area of the cone is actually greater than the area of the collector or exhaust pipe, thus reducing a backpressure condition. Because no significant backpressure has been introduced, the engine is still able to use the scavenge ability of a good header to creat horsepower and torque. Dyno and track testing show significant noise reduction with little or no power loss.
