- The Overthrow Transbrake Button has the ability to slow reaction times up to 0.060 seconds.
- This design uses a constant force spring, steel chrome shaft and linear roller bearing which makes it like no other transbrake button on the market. Most competitors rely on a plastic on plastic friction fit to reduce the speed and force from tension springs. These designs have the tendency to get dirty or the shafts will get bent which can cause inconsistency from run to run, or in a worse case scenario the switch gets stuck completely. With the custom concave button head, this button offers the longest stroke (and the slowest release) on the market while still maintaining within the NHRA tranksbrake rule (3” maximum length from base of switch to top of plunger.). This allows the most adjustability while keeping a simple design.
